Jason Vinton
Chief Operating Officer CFO Jason Vinton’s Wall Street experience in quantitative analytics keeps FRG’s back end operating smoothly. Jason graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of the South – Sewanee, where he majored in Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, and minored in mathematics. Jason’s career has led him from San Francisco, where he developed credit risk software at Moody’s, to New York City, where he built stock & bond trading and settlement systems at DTCC and NEON (New Era of Networks).
Jason was the lead developer on the first FIX (Financial Information eXchange) engine implemented at the NYSE and Singapore Stock Exchange and has served on the FIX for Exchanges Standards Committee. Fluent in Mandarin, Jason also lived in China for nearly 10 years, where he served as the Managing Director for a Beijing-based market risk software company, a subsidiary of Xinhua Finance. Jason now calls Lakewood home, where he lives with his wife.
Ray Vinton
General Counsel Our General Counsel, Ray Vinton, has over thirty years of experience as a business, international, corporate, and general counsel with major corporations such as E-Systems, Electronic Data Systems (EDS), and the aviation subsidiary of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Also touting over ten years of experience in the Army, Ray worked in communication and intelligence operations in Asia and the Middle East with several elite units. Ray earned his Undergraduate Degree in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and his law degree from Southern Methodist University.
A member of the American Corporate Counsel Association and a long-standing member of the Texas Bar, Ray is a trained and approved mediator in Texas and is qualified to become a member of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, an organization based in London that focuses on international arbitration. Ray lives with his wife in Lakewood and enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and their Bernese Mountain Dog.
